Calf is small

I got my boyfriend these for christmas, he is normally a Large, so I got the L and the calves do not fit him, they are abnormally small, like almost Women's size. Also, I tried reaching out to customer service email and it said it didn't exist, so I tried reaching out to them on Instagram with no reply..and its been months.. Poor customer service.
Otherwise the print of these is cool, however I have no use for them.
