The Coachella 2018 lineup has just been announced, which means that people are getting their plans together to head to sunny Indio, California. If you've already bought your tickets and booked your travel, there's just one last thing you need to do -- get the perfect Coachella clothing.

Festival fashion changes a little bit each year, but there are a few staple pieces you should definitely pack to be both comfortable and stylish. Get ready to make all of your Instagram followers jealous.

Read on to learn what should go in your suitcase.

1. Comfy Shoes

Heels might look great with your outfit, but they're not worth the pain that you'll be in at the end of the day. Stilettos are not made for standing in the grass for hours in the middle of a crowd.

Instead, opt for some cute closed toe shoes. Boots are a great choice, but they have to be the right height. Ankle or mid-calf is perfect.

Leave the knee-high boots at home -- they'll get way too hot in the sun.

You can wear sandals too if you want, but be prepared for mud!

2. Flowy Tops

The boho look is a staple of Coachella clothing. You want something that will help you to beat the heat and look cute at the same time.

Try a flowy short sleeved top that won't stick to your skin and make you even hotter. Don't worry about accidentally matching with someone wearing the same thing. You can find a print that will help you stand out even in the most Instagram-ready crowd ever.

A tank top or off-the-shoulder shirt with a fun, bright pattern is a must-have. Just don't go strapless -- the last thing you want is for your shirt to fall down when you're enjoying the music.

3. Hooded Blankets

Whether you're camping out or headed back to a hotel at the end of the day, you'll need something to stay warm when the temperatures drop in the evening.

While you could bring a jacket like everyone else, if you want to both be unique and ultra-cozy, get a hooded blanket instead. You can wrap yourself up in the blanket to listen to the last set of the night, or curl up in it to go to sleep at the end of a long day.

4. Jean Shorts

Pack a pair of cutoff jean shorts to finish off your look. A great pair of shorts is a must-have at any festival, so don't leave them out of your suitcase for Coachella, either.

Don't limit yourself to regular denim blue, though. There are a ton of different colors out there that you can play with. Get creative and stand out from the crowd.

Try to find a high-waisted style -- it'll go best with your boots!
