Summer may not be over yet, but the pumpkin spice flavors and fall decor is already making an appearance in stores. The first day of Autumn is on September 22 which means Halloween is right around the corner.

If you love Fall and everything that comes with it, you're probably already thinking about this year's Halloween costume. We know you're never too old for Halloween, but you won't be wearing this costume out trick-or-treating.

If you plan on heading to a party or something a little more exciting, continue reading. We have 5 awesome costume ideas for your next Halloween Rave!

1. Mythical Creatures

Mythical creatures such as mermaids and unicorns have been making a bit of a comeback recently in all age groups. As much as we wish they actually existed, we'll have to settle as dressing up as them for a night.

Stand out in the crowd and show off some skin with a mermaid-inspired costume. Make a skirt from scratch by adding sequins and sparkles or a pair of mermaid print bottoms. Your outfit won't be complete without the signature seashell bra.

Enhance the costume's look with sequins or rhinestones on your arms and face, spraying with a setting spray to keep your makeup intact. Top it off with a pearl necklace or a starfish hair clip to make the outfit complete.

2. Skeleton Chick

What's spookier than a Skeleton at a Halloween rave? Dress in a rainbow skeleton bodysuit or dress all in black with chalk outlining your bones.

Leave time to do your makeup, taking inspiration from the sugar skull trend to make the costume pop and come together.

3. Woodstock Babe

Have fun with this costume as you travel back in time and dress like you're going to Woodstock. Radiate love and peace with flowing hair, a pair of glasses, and a colorful or trippy dress. Add a pair of pumps and dance the night away!

4. Disney Princess

It wouldn't be Halloween without a Disney Princess roaming around. Take inspiration from your favorite Disney character and base your outfit off of their main colors.

Alice in Wonderland uses bright sky blues with black and white accents. Find a dress with some hosiery to make this costume sexy and fun.

Add accessories like a bow or jewelry. Make this a couples costume by adding your Prince Charming to the mix!

5. Furry Felines

Girls like nothing more than dressing as animals for Halloween and we can't blame them. A cute kitty or bunny rabbit is easy to put together and looks awesome.

Wear anything you want from an all black cat look to multi-colored like a calico. The accessories for this outfit are what will make you stand out. In addition to your cat or bunny ears, get creative by adding a rabbit masquerade mask, collar or bow time, plus a tail!
