Laura is a self-taught artist based in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. She began painting in 2012 after an incident caused her to lose her vision for three weeks. Unable to focus on the objective world gave her an unspeakable amount of time to envision and dream. Once recovered, she was left with permanent damage to her vision. However, this didn’t stop Laura’s want and need to create art!
In Laura’s words, “Painting is my meditation. It allows me to completely let go. I find peace away from the worry of time and stress. I have yet to take an art class – each piece is a learning experience and a journey.”
Laura has been a part of the Electro Threads Team for a while now. She is a complete joy to work with, and we could not love her more! We can't wait to see what she comes up with next!
